It is three hours before Christmas when evil and mysterious black dust is swirling and spiraling through every home around the world. It is just another day at Santa’s Factory and his elves are busy working away the toy factory when Santa realises he can no longer hear the children's Christmas gift wishes. Santa's daughter Millie who is overly curious hears Santa explaining this to Jack (the magic beanstalk man). Jemma (Jack's daughter) finds Millie spying on the pair and before she knows it, she is reluctantly wrapped up in the black dust mystery too. A giant beanstalk has grown out of nowhere in Jack's back yard replacing all of his 500 beanstalks (the food supply for the North Pole and the North Pole Village). This instantly grabs the attention of Millie and Jemma. Believing it will solve the black dust mystery, the girls embark on a journey up the beanstalk. The girls are taken on two very different paths to begin. Millie is seeing the beauty in this new place where Jemma is only seeing the barren land. Millie is always so full of excitement while Jemma being a constant voice of reason of doubt. Jemma soon discovers how her thoughts affect her vision of what's around her. Jemma and Mille meet a wise sage who explains the black dust and sets the girls on the correct path to solving the mystery. The two girls
are given a crystal and when Millie looks into the crystal, she can see that someone is in her father's office back at the North Pole. Hurrying home, the girls discover an elf has been working undercover for the “other side”, accessing Santa's files and deleting all the children's names and wishes. His boss had sprinkled a black dust over the world so Santa would be blocked from hearing the children's wishes, so he could gain the power of the children's love. But with the curious Millie and cautious Jemma on the case, Christmas is saved! Or is it? Part two will have more answers to the mystery at hand.
